Reproduction Preferences Additional Information | Reproductive period varies with location even on a small scale: spawning in Northumberland ranged from Feb-April or Nov-Jan in intertidal populations to Nov-Dec in a subtidal populations (Christie, 1985). June-Sept in English Channel (Hily, 1987). Adults with eggs found all year in Bay of Brest. Curtis (1977) suggested that a population from west Greenland had direct development . |
